Torchlit sleigh ride in the Chochołowska Valley
An hour by horse-drawn sleigh through the snowy valley, then a bonfire with a live highlander band. We pick you up at your accommodation in Zakopane or Kościelisko and bring you back.

How the evening goes

Pickup at your accommodation
A minibus picks you up at your guesthouse or hotel in Zakopane or Kościelisko. Pickup elsewhere can be arranged for an extra fee.

Sleigh ride with torches
about 1 hour
You ride deep into the Chochołowska Valley. Sleighs seat 4–5 or 8–9 people, and we keep groups together.

Bonfire with a highlander band
about 1 hour
Live folk music, sausages over the fire, grilled oscypek cheese and mulled wine. Unlimited food and drinks.

Back to your accommodation
We drive you back to your guesthouse, hotel or another place in Zakopane or Kościelisko.
Tatra National Park entry, transport and insurance are included in the price.

Children under 4 ride free on a lap. 26 December requires a 10–25% deposit; other days need no deposit. You pay in cash to the minibus driver.
- Departure times
- Daily at 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 pm. We confirm the exact time when you book, as it depends on numbers.
- Christmas
- There are no rides on 24 and 25 December.
- Sleigh size
- Sleighs seat 4–5 or 8–9 people. Groups of 3 or 7 pay 80 PLN for the empty seat. Groups of 5 pay no extra.
- Groups of 12+
- Groups of 12 or more get a discount. Ask for your group price.
- Not enough snow
- If there is too little snow, the ride goes by horse-drawn wagon or carriage instead.
- Booking and cancellation
- Booking is free until 3 hours before the ride. If you cancel later or don't show up for the minibus, the fee is 350 PLN per 4 people.
- Payment
- In cash to the minibus driver on the day of the ride.
New Year's Eve sleigh ride, 31 December
New Year's Eve in the Chochołowska Valley: torchlit sleighs, a party with highlanders and champagne at midnight.

Discount for 12+ paying guests in one group. Empty seat in a sleigh: 100 PLN. Free booking until 3 hours before the ride; after that, a fee of 400 PLN per sleigh (4 people).

How do I book?
Call or send a WhatsApp message with the date, number of people (adults and children) and your accommodation address. We'll confirm the departure time.
Where do you pick us up?
At your guesthouse, hotel or another place in Zakopane and Kościelisko. Pickup from other towns can be arranged for an extra fee.
How long does it take?
About three hours including transfer: an hour in the sleigh, an hour at the bonfire, the rest is travel.
Is it good for children?
Yes, many families come with children. Children 4–14 pay 200 PLN (230 PLN on 26 December); under 4 ride free on a lap.
What if there's no snow?
The ride still goes ahead, by horse-drawn wagon or carriage instead of a sleigh.
What should we wear?
Dress for a long winter evening outdoors: warm jacket, hat, gloves and snow boots. You'll spend about two hours in the sleigh and at the fire.
